'Na Today'? Saraki says he will #OpenNASS

But now that everything is fine, the National Assembly’s budget will be transparent. Nigerians will know what every member receives. By the time the budget is passed in the next few weeks, we will make it public and it will be to our advantage, because we hear statements like National Assembly members are the highest paid, because what people do is to take the budget and divide it by 469 members and arrive at our salaries..."Excerpt from Bukola Saraki's interview with Arise TV

  • No one (even members say they are not in the know) except the leadership of the National Assembly know the details of their budget.
Our take on the matter
  • (Please correct us if we are wrong) This will be the umpteenth time the Senate President is making this promise so why should we not take his words with a pinch of salt?
